If the same issue I repaired returns within 90 days due to the repair work performed, I'll return and address the covered repair at no additional service, labor, or travel charge.

Examples of issues not covered include:

• Failure of a different component that was not part of the original repair

• Damage caused by improper use, pets, children, accidents, or external forces

• Damage or changes resulting from work performed by another person or company after my repair

• Normal deterioration of older components that were not replaced or repaired

Replacement parts used during a repair may be covered by a separate manufacturer or supplier warranty. Any such warranty is provided by the manufacturer or supplier and is separate from Steve’s Blind Repair’s 90-day workmanship warranty.

If a replacement part fails during the 90-day warranty period, contact me and I’ll help determine whether the issue is related to my repair work or the replacement part itself.

Resizing, cutting, shortening, or otherwise altering an existing window treatment may involve additional risk due to the product’s age, condition, construction, or materials.

Because these services permanently modify the original product, damage or failure resulting from the inherent risks of an approved alteration is not covered by the 90-day repair warranty.

This does not exclude problems caused by my workmanship. If an issue results from the alteration work being performed incorrectly, it will be addressed under the 90-day workmanship warranty.

Get in touch and let me know what’s happening. I’ll help determine the next step.
